My wife is having a tough go with her cancer treatments.  Last Sunday morning around 4AM I had to take her to St. John's Hospital ER due to extreme pain making it diffiuclt for her to breathe.  She is fine now but the infusion and radiation treatments are taking their toll on our spirits.  She remains strong in her faith, but I haven't spoken to God in several months.  I can't seem to find the way back to Him.  Prayers and religious services seem empty and just a tired old routine.  My request is that first of all you remember Stephanie, and all those who are facing serious medical situations,  in your prayers, for they are special to God.  Secondly, please pray for family members of the sick.   It can be a struggle to trust in the Lord while feeling helpless to help the one you love in a way that will bring them hope and ease their pain.
